Okay, we will go ahead with the disclaimer: we have a flounce and ruffle infatuation. What could possibly make these near perfect design details better? The answer is more than obvious, we had to add lace. This saffron ponte-knit top is taken up a notch when the edges and seams are lined with a like-tone small crochet lace edging. Around the hem of the peplum, we decided to stitch three rows of lace, each nestled up closely to the other. The neckline has a row of lace tucked in between the bodice and the neck binding. When you take a look at the sleeve, you will see we even stitched in a little lace on the underside seam of the flounce. Now, when an arm is lifted to wave to a friend, the hidden seam is finished off to perfection.
